I just returned from a killer 5-day workshop with my friend, Jim Garner. I have known Jim for over two years and it has been so awesome to see his success-WPPI Young Guns, several huge album of the year awards ( he had 5 albums in the top ten!) to the latest award of being recognized as Top Ten Photographer in the World. Can it get any better? It is so awesome to see phenomenal talent and success go hand-in-hand because it doesn’t always work that way. And the fact that Jim and his lovely wife Katarina are two of the kindest, most generous and giving people in the industry is just a huge bonus! Actually, that’s no the bonus. That’s the MAIN thing. Their talent and success are the bonus!
Anyway, it was five days of shooting, instruction and hanging out with other mega-talented photographers. I just couldn’t wait to return to Colorado to shoot my next wedding. I was inspired and filled with new ideas and new excitement. Here are just a few images from my time in Washington…
