Congratulations Chris and Dave!

July 12, 2009…great friends and warm family members gathered at the beautiful Wild Basin Lodge to celebrate the marriage of Chris and Dave. Dave, the engineer, and Chris, the musician, seem to be a perfect match. The wedding ring is traditionally transported up the aisle on a pillow but not this time. Since Dave is an avid climber, the rings were transported via a caribeener and climbing rope. Even the wedding cake was cut with an ice ax. The music was provided by the bride’s gifted students. In spite of the threatening skies, the ceremony was held outside in the meadow. As the final strains of the music was played, a big blast of wind blew all the music stands over and sent music sheets flying. The accomplished musicians burst into laughter and everyone headed inside to escape the coming storm. The storm provided some incredibly dramatic skies during our extended photo session with the couple. Congratulations! We have a lot more to show you, but for now, here are a few of our favorites…

Awesome skies!A tender moment away from the guestsThe bride picked the place and the date based on wildflowers-she nailed it perfectly!
