Lindy and Brian’s wedding {Colorado wedding photography}

We are so excited to be shooting Lindy and Brian’s wedding next month. The ceremony will take place at a beautiful church in Arvada, Colorado and the reception will be held in Denver, CO at Mile High Station. Lindy is a Bronco’s cheerleader and this promises to be an over-the-top celebration. We could not be more happy for Brian and Lindy, such an awesome couple! We were able to get permission to do their engagement shoot in the Bronco Stadium (Sports Authority Stadium). It was a comical moment when the sprinklers for the field came on! You should have seen us run!

Barbara and Scott were married at St. Malo Catholic church in Allenspark, CO with the reception at The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO. It was an amazing event! The bride’s rich German heritage was evident in almost every detail. You felt that you had truly been to Oktoberfest!

The Reception: Part 3
The Brown Palace ballroom is absolutely gorgeous, particularly after the magic created by Emily Lenich of Particulars Planning and the folks at Pink Monkey. Fabulous food was served by the Brown Palace and the incredible music was provided by Denver’s number one dance band, Funkifino. As if that was not enough, the evening was capped off by a casino party. The evening absolutely perfect! Congratulations Ryann and Nick!

Ryann and Nick: Part 2, the ceremony
This gorgeous wedding was held “in the round”. For those of you unfamiliar with that term, it means that the ceremony can be observed by every seat in the gorgeous Brown Palace ballroom. Ryann and Nick were married by a Jewish Rabbi under a Chuppah, which symbolized the Jewish home by the cloth canopy and the four poles. It is a tradition that harkens back to the ancient days of the tent of Abraham. A beautiful ceremony in a beautiful place…

Ryann and Nick had one of the most amazing wedding celebrations we have ever seen! The ceremony and reception were held at the legendary Brown Palace Hotel in downtown Denver, CO.
Ryann and Nick had a romantic “first sight” meeting on the upper floor of the hotel, followed by the ceremony and reception in the Brown’s magnificent ballroom. All the details and planning were handled by Emily Lenich of Particulars Planning. Pink Monkey Solutions transformed the ballroom into a fantasy of color and light. The ultimate Denver dance band Funkiphino rocked the guests all night. Congrats, Nick and Ryann! It was spectacular!

Part 1 of 3:
Ryann and Nick’s wedding at the Brown Palace was a gorgeous celebration of their marriage in front of many friends and family. Ryann and Nick chose to see each other before the ceremony. It offered them a private moment to share their feelings of seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day, a day that had been anticipated for a long time. We also had a wonderful opportunity to shoot some fun portraits of the bride and groom with their bridal party. Have you ever seen a bridal party that size? Obviously, they are loved dearly by many, many people.
We have chosen to divide their wedding into a three part blog post as the entire day was eye candy!

Colorado Engagement Photography

Brian and Lindy—must be the cutest couple on the planet and super-over-the-top-in-love–making our job as their photographers a piece of cake. We are excited to be shooting their wedding and reception at Mile High Station in Denver next February.
When it came to the engagement session, their love for the Broncos and their obvious connections made the location a clear choice–Invesco Field.

Destination wedding photography :: Bella Donna Chapel McKinney, TX part 2

Congratulations Mattie and Eli! It has been such a joy for me to edit your wedding images. It was a day like none other!

Bella Donna Chapel is a new little treasure in McKinney, Texas that was inspired by a chapel in Italy. The place is absolutely breathtaking. The reception was held at a private home across the lake from the chapel. Of course the bride was stunning as were her bridesmaids. The military was well represented here with the groom in his uniform, as well as his groomsmen and the bride’s brother (who walked her down the aisle). What a fitting way to end the beautiful occasion on Memorial Day weekend with fireworks. I am not sure it gets much better than that! Congratulations!!!
