Just recently we posted about the news that Brandon and Nicole were expecting their first baby (we shot their Vail wedding last year) and now we can repeat the announcement about Chris and Shelly. Chris and Shelly were married in March in Evergreen. It is so thrilling to work with a couple during their engagement, shoot all the intimate, serious, spontaneous and, sometimes crazy moments, on their wedding day and then get the news of their expanding family. Shelly and Chris have a beautiful love story and this is just icing on the cake! Congrats!

A big thank you goes out to Chris Loring for being such a faithful poster to Project Wedding.com. It is so great to see how she is so willing to share her ideas from her meticulous wedding planning with others. Chris and her man, Dave, were married in a beautiful ceremony at the always fabulous Wild Basin Lodge in July. She has a wonderful eye and had great details in her wedding. Probably my favorite aspect was her desire to incorporate her new hubby’s love of climbing…from the rope carrying the wedding ring, to the slideshow with many climbing images to the slicing of the cake with the ice ax (or at least I think that was what it was) Thank you, Chris Loring!

Congratulations Erika and Mark! August 29 was truly your day! It was all so amazing. The beautiful Mt. Vernon country club was absolutely perfect for you. And Frontliner, the band, was incredible. I believe you have the all-time biggest wedding party ever! Was it 24 people??!! It was such a privilege for me and Julie to have such a front-row seat of your lives for a day, a day where your closest friends drew near to wish you the very best in your life together. You could certainly feel the love! The bridal party was over-the-top with their choreographed moves down the aisle (cannot wait to show you those). Erika and Mark, we are so happy for you and cannot wait to show you the rest… but for now, here are a few…More to come!
